Chromium molybdenum vanadium hot work steel, with 1% vanadium
Improved retention of hardness and high temperature wear resistance compared with “USN”, very good deep hardening properties; insensitivity to thermal shocks. Water cooling possible.

Extrusion tools for aluminium alloys section and tube production, such as high stress dies of all shapes, die holders,dummy blocks,stems, mandrels and tips, pressure discs,shear blades; stems and mandrels for the extrusion of steel and of copper alloys; die casting tools of all types for aluminium and zinc alloys; tools on forging machines, such as dies and inserts, jaws and punches for aluminium and copper alloys as well as steel for making screws and bolts
